Since then I have never really been without pain. About 4 years ago I got another hernia. In the hospital I went through the scanner and the doctor said that it was likely that, were I to undergo another operation, I would end in a wheelchair. I declined to have this operation. There was hardly anything I could do without pain. Nice family outings were not for me as I could not walk the stairs, stand or sit for a long time and I had to take pills if things became too bad. On May 9, 2001 I was visiting my sister-in-law Annie and she invited me to come with her to a campaign in Valkenswaard since she had been cured there and had come out of her wheelchair. I said that it was all halluballuh but seeing her walk raised hope in me. So I went and what I saw went beyond my comprehension. People were healed just like that. We sang a lot. I too went up front with pain in my back for sitting on those hard chairs for a couple of hours was not easy. I told everything to the interpreter that stood with Charles (the pastor). Through the interpreter Charles said that I had been healed, that Jesus had done that. I still could not believe it. I went down the stairs without pain. Once at home I walked the stairs 4 times and still felt no pain. It was a miracle. Thanks to Jesus I can now do everything. I wish I had known this 10 years earlier. I want to thank everyone who has participated in this, the people of Rehoboth do very good things, thank you.
